After a few month of struggling for financing of the African Renaissance Stadium, a milestone has finally been reached, thanks to the work of Hellen Zille.
Cape Town has only to pay 50Mio Euro maximum for the stadium. The old Greenpoint stadium has already been demolished and construction is well on its way. We have enabled a link to the webcam of the construction site which updates every hour!! @Cape will also keep you up to date in the progress of the South Africa’s 2010 Soccer World Cup campaign.
